Minneapolis Community and Technical College and Minneapolis Public Schools Partner to Host 900 Minneapolis Public High School Students as part of college

Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) will welcome 900 Minneapolis high school students to campus on Wednesday, April 20, as part of The Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) “Scholarship, Service, Step” week of events designed to encourage MPS students to pursue higher education.

The students will hear from Stephen Stafford, 14-year-old, triple-major, child prodigy from Morehouse College, Cub Foods President Keith Wyche, and Eden Prairie High School student Brandon Hill. The three will lead a panel discussion.

The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Bowman Hall Gymnasium, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, 1501 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis. The event also will include a college fair with representatives from the College, who will be available to talk with the students.
