Minneapolis Community and Technical College has joined the efforts to make downtown Minneapolis a greener space. Through its recent plaza restoration project, MCTC has created a space thriving with plant life for students and others to enjoy. As a result, the Downtown Improvement District named MCTC as the winner of the “Best Restoration” award in its second annual Greening and Public Realm Awards. Read more in the Star Tribune article
